Consensus Narrative

The standard explanation: Valentich became disoriented, flew inverted, and crashed. The UFO was proposed as his own aircraft seen in reflection or stellar inversion. This cannot account for the multiple ground witnesses, the object’s described behaviour, or the absence of any wreckage despite extensive search.
