WHY IT MATTERS
France is the only major power that officially classifies some UAP cases as “unexplained” in public government records. The Cometa Report (1999) — produced by French military and intelligence officials — concluded UAP represent a real phenomenon of unknown origin.

Produced by former French military and intelligence officers. Concluded UAP are real, probably extraterrestrial in origin, and that US authorities likely know more than they disclose. One of the most significant government-adjacent UAP documents ever produced in a Western nation.

2014 Navy helicopter video — 11-minute infrared footage of an object that released a gas trail, tracked by radar. Released publicly by CEFAA. Investigated by scientists at multiple institutions. Officially unresolved.
WHY IT MATTERS
Aviation-authority UAP program with multi-sensor data and professional investigator access. Publishes full case files. One of the few programs that has released multi-sensor unresolved cases publicly.
🇧🇷BRAZIL NATIONAL ARCHIVE — UAP COLLECTION
ARQUIVO NACIONAL / DECLASSIFIEDARCHIVE TYPE
National archive — formally declassified military and government documents. Not an investigation program but a permanent records repository covering decades of official Brazilian UAP activity.
SCOPE
Covers Brazilian Air Force investigations from the 1950s onward. Includes the 1977 “Operation Saucer” files — a Brazilian military operation to investigate mass UAP sightings over the Amazon. One of the largest official UAP investigation records in the world.
OPERATION SAUCER (1977)
Brazilian Air Force deployment to the Amazon following mass civilian UAP encounters. Over 300 pages of military investigation records, photographs, and witness testimony. Files declassified and transferred to the National Archive. Available to researchers.
WHY IT MATTERS
One of the largest officially declassified UAP document collections outside the United States. Predates AARO by decades. Includes contemporary military photographs and testimony that have never been fully analyzed by English-language researchers.

WHAT IS KNOWN
The Five Eyes intelligence alliance (US, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand) has been linked to UAP information sharing in Congressional testimony and whistleblower accounts. The UK MOD ran a formal UAP investigation desk until 2009. Australia’s Defence Department has received FOIA requests on UAP records. No publicly confirmed joint Five Eyes UAP framework exists as of mid-2026.

UK National Archives for MOD UAP files (transferred on rolling 20-year schedule). Australian Defence FOIAs. New Zealand Air Force UAP files (partially released). Canadian DND records. Congressional testimony referencing allied intelligence sharing on UAP cases.
