UAP Oracle — Whistleblower File

Captain Robert Salas (USAF, Ret.)

Former ICBM Launch Control Officer · Malmstrom 1967 Witness

United States Air Force
Former TS/SCI
Disclosed: 2010
PUBLIC TESTIMONY

Core Disclosure

On March 16, 1967, while on duty in the Malmstrom AFB underground launch capsule, ten Minuteman ICBMs were taken offline simultaneously while a security guard reported a glowing red oval hovering over the front gate. This is the best-documented case of UAP disabling nuclear weapons systems.

Captain Robert Salas was a nuclear missile launch control officer at Malmstrom AFB’s Oscar Flight when all ten Minuteman missiles in his flight went to ‘no-go’ status. His commander had just reported a UAP sighting above ground. In 2010 Salas testified at the National Press Club alongside six other military officers who had witnessed UAP near nuclear facilities. He published ‘Faded Giant’ documenting the incident with corroborating testimony from other officers present.

Key Testimony

My commander called me on the interphone — the direct line — and said there are some strange lights coming in from the west. Shortly afterward, all ten of my missiles went to no-go.

I don’t know of any other explanation for what happened. There is no known technical malfunction that could simultaneously take ten independently-circuited missiles offline.

— Salas, 2010 National Press Club

Why This Matters

The simultaneous shutdown of ten independently-circuited ICBMs has no conventional technical explanation. Each Minuteman silo has independent power and control systems — a simultaneous shutdown requires an external cause. Salas’s account is corroborated by Captain Eric Carlson, the officer who replaced him and confirmed the shutdown in his own unit. Robert Hastings documented 150+ similar nuclear-UAP incidents. The pattern of UAP specifically targeting nuclear weapons systems is established across Malmstrom, Rendlesham (weapons storage beam), and Tehran (weapons panel failure).
