Pantex Nuclear Weapons Facility
DOE/NNSA facility — Panhandle, Texas
ACTIVE — UAP INCURSIONS DOCUMENTED
The Pantex Plant near Amarillo, Texas is the United States’ only nuclear weapons final assembly and disassembly facility. It produces approximately 85% of all non-nuclear components for US nuclear weapons and handles the complete assembly, disassembly, and modification of the nuclear stockpile. In 2013, a jellyfish-shaped UAP passed through the facility’s central operational areas — between Sites 4 and 12, the highest-classification areas containing plutonium pit storage. Thermal footage of the 2013 incident exists and has not been publicly released. A 2015 incident involving a diamond-shaped object was documented via FOIA.
History
Pantex was established in 1942 as an Army Air Force bomb loading facility. It was transferred to the Atomic Energy Commission (predecessor to DOE/NNSA) after the war and has since served as the sole nuclear weapons assembly plant. It is operated by Consolidated Nuclear Security LLC under contract to NNSA. The facility handles approximately 85% of all non-nuclear components for every nuclear weapon in the US arsenal. Sites 4 and 12 — where the 2013 UAP was observed — are the highest-security areas of the facility.
UAP Connection
Two documented UAP incidents. 2013: a jellyfish-shaped UAP with dome and tentacles penetrated the facility’s central operational areas, moving between Site 4 and Site 12 before accelerating upward at extreme speed. Two thermal cameras captured the event. Footage has not been released. 2015: a diamond-shaped object was observed by security personnel and tracked by ground radar. Photographed from a nearby radar tower. Sandia National Laboratories analysed the images — results are classified.
Current Status
The NNSA told Liberation Times it ‘cannot confirm whether the object represented UAP’ regarding the 2015 incident. No statement has been made about the 2013 thermal footage. FOIA requests have produced partial records with significant redactions. Corbell has stated two pieces of thermal footage from the 2013 event exist and that ‘your government is covering it up and continues to lie to you about it.’ The facility continues operating as the sole US nuclear weapons assembly site.
