Over 100,000 reports indexed by date, location, shape, and duration. 2025 saw 2,800+ reports. 2026 is already tracking above average. This is the largest open civilian UAP dataset in the world.
The CIA maintains a UFO collection in its Freedom of Information Act Electronic Reading Room at cia.gov/readingroom. The collection spans 1940s-1990s and includes internal CIA analysis of UFO reports, Robertson Panel documents, and hundreds of field intelligence reports. Retired USAF Major General William Neil McCasland — former commander of the Air Force Research Laboratory at Wright-Patterson AFB — disappeared in Albuquerque in early 2026. McCasland had been linked to UAP program knowledge. Authorities are still searching. The Debrief reported March 11, 2026.
The AARO Historical Record Report Volume I was released February 2024. The Pentagon said it found no evidence of recovered craft or hidden programs.
