April 27 deadline — on the record

The April 27 deadline for FBI, DoD, DoE, and NASA to brief House Oversight has passed. FBI Director Kash Patel publicly confirmed engagement. DoD, DoE, and NASA have made no equivalent public statement. The committee’s next move is the trigger to watch.

GREMLIN: 90-day deployment underway

AARO’s purpose-built UAP sensor system — Georgia Tech Research Institute developed — is in active 90-day deployment. The sites are classified. The selection criteria are not. Watch AARO’s EFOIA reading room for any documentation drops on site selection methodology — that’s effectively a declassified UAP hotspot map.

NARA RG 615 — quiet additions

NARA’s UAP records group continues to receive transfers under the FY2024 NDAA mandate. Most additions are administrative. The transfers worth attention are those from agencies not previously known to hold UAP material — those are the institutional surprises.

What to watch next week

Comer or Burlison statements on agency response. Any new AARO EFOIA drops. NDAA FY2027 markup language on UAP. International archive activity at GEIPAN, UK National Archives, and SEFAA Chile.
