CRASH: April 11, 1933. A craft either landed or crashed near Magenta, Lombardy region, northern Italy. MUSSOLINI’S RESPONSE: Dispatched secret intelligence unit “Gabinetto RS/33” (RS/33 Cabinet). Craft stored at SIAI Marchetti aircraft hangar in Vergiate (nearby town). Initially believed to be a secret British, French, or German weapon. Mussolini referred to it as an “unconventional flying vehicle.” MARCONI INVOLVEMENT: Guglielmo Marconi — Italian radio inventor — appointed head of the secret commission by Mussolini. Marconi’s own nephew confirmed this to OGGO Magazine. Marconi’s commission concluded the craft was EXTRATERRESTRIAL in origin. THE PAPAL BACKCHANNEL: As Mussolini allied with Hitler, Pope Pius XII became uneasy about the craft being in Axis hands. Per Grusch’s 2023 Congressional testimony (Grusch states he was “authorized to discuss this by the DoD’s Office of Prepublication and Security Review”): “1933 was the first recovery in Europe, in Magenta, Italy. They recovered a partially intact vehicle. The Italian government moved it to a secure airbase in Italy until around 1944-1945. The Pope backchanneled that, and told the Americans what the Italians had, and we ended up scooping it.” When asked: “Does the Catholic Church know about the existence of alien life?” Grusch answered: “Certainly.” OSS RETRIEVAL: The Office of Strategic Services (CIA’s direct predecessor) retrieved the craft 1944-1945. The Vatican facility that housed the craft was reportedly spared Allied bombing while all other nearby industrial facilities were heavily targeted. Luis Elizondo (AATIP, separately confirmed): “I’ve seen personally documentation that’s very compelling from a particular foreign country where they had a recovery of a vehicle and after WWII, allegedly, parts of that vehicle were brought to the United States.” MONTE SORATTE — BUNKER SORATTE: Mussolini chose Monte Soratte (50km north of Rome) to build his wartime bunker — on the recommendation of Pope Pius XII, who suggested it because the Vatican was already using the mountain’s natural caves to store precious artifacts. 4.5km of tunnels, large enough for cars, trucks, and tanks. Tanks still found inside today. The bunker was controlled sequentially by: Vatican, Fascists, Nazis, and then NATO — until 2008. JESSE MICHELS ON SITE 2025: Jesse Michels (American Alchemy, key dossier figure) was given a private tour of the Bunker Soratte by Gregory Paolucci (museum founder and mayor of San Oreste). Catholic News Service documented the visit on October 31 2025.
