September 9, 2025 — House Oversight Task Force on Declassification of Federal Secrets hearing (“Restoring Public Trust Through UAP Transparency”): Rep. Eric Burlison (R-MO) publicly revealed, for the first time, video footage of a classified October 2024 incident. An American MQ-9 drone engaged a high-speed orb off the coast of Yemen by firing a Hellfire missile directly at it. According to Burlison’s description of the footage: the missile appeared to hit the orb. The orb did not stop or change trajectory. It continued moving after the impact. The apparent debris from the missile was observed being “taken with it” — seemingly absorbed by or traveling with the orb after the impact. Burlison: “It kept going, and it looked like the debris was taken with it. I’m not going to speculate what it is. But the question is, why are we being blocked from this information?” This case represents the first publicly disclosed documented military kinetic engagement of an unidentified aerial object in US military history. A Hellfire missile is a precision-guided air-to-ground munition with an 8kg warhead capable of destroying light armor. An object that absorbs such an impact without deviation is either hardened at a level beyond known materials, or exhibits physics that Hellfire engagement physics cannot account for. This footage is presumably among the 46 named UAP video files demanded by Rep. Luna from the Pentagon in March 2026 — and never delivered. ALSO FROM THE SEPT 9 HEARING: Air Force veteran Jeffrey Nuccetelli: “What we saw changed our lives — the way we think about everything. It was incredibly profound.” Admiral Tim Gallaudet: received the “Go Fast” video via email from Fleet Forces Command — “the very next day, the email disappeared from my account and those of the other recipients without explanation.”
