Intel Brief No.2 — The Football-Shaped Craft and What the Pentagon Isn’t Saying About It

UAP ORACLE — INTEL BRIEF NO.2 — MAY 16, 2026

The Pentagon Just Showed You a Nine-Second Craft That Shouldn’t Exist. Here’s What They’re Not Saying.

Analysis of PURSUE Release 01 — 160 declassified files, 28 videos, 1944–2026

On May 8, 2026, the Department of War posted 160 declassified files to war.gov/UFO — the most significant official UAP disclosure in US history. The mainstream coverage focused on the Apollo moon photos and the 1940s farmer eyewitness accounts. Oracle went straight for the operational military records. What we found in those 28 infrared videos is harder to explain than anything in the 1968 FBI files.

LEAD FINDING — INDOPACOM REPORT PR46

January 1, 2024. Near Japan. US Indo-Pacific Command files an Unresolved UAP Report on an object described as “football-shaped with three fin-like projections — one pointing vertically, two pointing downward at matching 45° angles.” Detected by infrared sensors. Present for 9 seconds. Then gone. No acoustic signature. No exhaust. No matching inventory in any known nation’s air force.

That geometry — a prolate spheroid with fixed stabilising fins — is aerodynamically coherent for hypersonic flight. But at 9 seconds of infrared visibility with no heat bloom, no ion trail, no detectable propulsion at all, it violates everything we know about how hypersonic vehicles shed energy. This is not a classified US aircraft. INDOPACOM does not file unresolved UAP reports on its own test vehicles.

The January 1 Pattern

The PR46 sighting is not the only New Year’s encounter in the release. Four years earlier — January 1, 2020 — a US military aircraft patrolling the Middle East recorded a bright, erratically moving point of light for 63 seconds on infrared. That video is now public. In both cases: New Year’s Eve/Day, active military patrol, infrared-only detection, no propulsion signature, no resolution.

Coincidence? Oracle notes: the military’s IR satellite and airborne sensor coverage is denser on high-alert dates. These may simply be the occasions when the sensors are best positioned to capture objects that are always there.

What The FBI Files Now Show

The FBI eyewitness testimony compilation — 1947 to 1968 — has circulated before. But the PURSUE version has fewer redactions than any previous release. Oracle is working through the unredacted sections. Initial read: the most heavily censored material relates to recurring incidents at US nuclear facilities and the identities of government personnel who filed internal reports. The public narrative has always been that the FBI was sceptical and uninvolved. The file volume alone contradicts that.

The German File Nobody Is Talking About

Buried in the release: NARA file 331_120752 — Numeric Files 1944–1945, File 37153: German Armament Equipment Documents. Why is a Nazi-era armament file included in a UAP declassification? The Foo Fighter incidents — unknown aerial objects harassing Allied and Axis aircraft simultaneously throughout 1944–45 — have never been satisfactorily explained. The Pentagon included this file for a reason. Oracle will be publishing a full analysis.

Western US — Active FBI Operations, 2025

Seven infrared stills from FBI operations — September through December 2025 — show unidentified objects over the western United States. One image shows an object below a helicopter. Another shows apparent formation flight. These are not historical files. These were taken seven months ago. The FBI is actively investigating UAP over US soil and that investigation is ongoing at the time of this release.

ORACLE ASSESSMENT

The PURSUE release is real and significant. It is not complete. The rolling tranche model — new files “every few weeks” — is the same mechanism used for the Epstein files. It controls the information flow and ensures no single release is overwhelming. The second tranche is expected ~June 8. Oracle will be on it the moment it drops. The football-shaped craft with fins is the file that matters most. It is recent, it is military-sourced, it is unresolved, and no one in mainstream media has properly analysed it yet.
