John David Podesta (born January 8, 1949) — one of the most senior US officials to publicly and persistently advocate for UAP disclosure. Career: Chief of Staff to President Clinton (1998-2001). Counselor to President Obama (2014-2015). Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign chairman (2016). US Special Envoy for Climate (2022-2024). Founded the Center for American Progress. THE WIKILEAKS CONNECTION: In 2016, WikiLeaks published Podesta’s hacked emails. Among them: correspondence with Dr. Edgar Mitchell (Apollo 14 astronaut, who walked on the Moon) discussing UAPs and “zero point energy.” Mitchell wrote to Podesta: “Because the War in Space race is heating up, I felt you should be aware of several factors as you and I schedule our Skype talk… Nonviolent ETI from the Cosmos are clearly not a threat to our social and biological systems.” Separately, the same email chain that named McCasland (Air Force Research Laboratory, now one of our 11 missing scientists) connected him to UAP research through Tom DeLonge’s contacts. DISCLOSURE ADVOCACY: Podesta has repeatedly stated publicly that his biggest regret from the Obama years was “once again not securing the disclosure of the UFO files.” After leaving government in 2015: “I’ve been a long-time advocate to the government to do a better job in providing the information that we have and to release more.” He appeared in promotional materials for Tom DeLonge’s TTSA disclosure effort in 2016. Mike McCurry (Clinton White House Press Secretary) told Washington Post: “John can get totally maniacal and phobic on certain subjects. He’s been known to pick up the phone to call the Air Force and ask them what’s going on in Area 51.” The Rockefeller Initiative FOIA records include requests for all files on UFOs in the files of White House Press Secretary McCurry.
