Luis “Lue” Elizondo (born in Texas) studied microbiology and immunology at the University of Miami. Army veteran. Ran counterintelligence operations against ISIS, al-Qaeda, and Hezbollah. Investigated espionage and terrorism for the Department of Defense. 2008: Joined the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Intelligence (OUSDI). 2009: Recruited to AATIP (Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program). THE VIDEOS: In 2017, Elizondo resigned in protest over senior officials’ dismissal of UAP evidence and initiated the security review process that ultimately cleared three videos for public release — working with colleague Chris Mellon to get them to journalists Leslie Kean and Ralph Blumenthal at the New York Times. Released: FLIR1/Tic Tac (2004 Nimitz encounter, Cmdr. Fravor), Gimbal (2015, rotating UAP), GoFast (2015, object hovering without propulsion). Pentagon confirmed in 2020 that all three “remain unexplained.” AATIP FINDINGS: UAPs documented pulling 5,000+ G-forces (human limit: ~9G). Transmedium travel — movement through air, water, and space without propulsion signature. Potential meta-materials with engineered properties. COLLEAGUES: Dr. Hal Puthoff (physics), Dr. Christopher “Kit” Green (medical intelligence), Christopher Mellon (DoD intelligence), Jay Stratton (DIA). NOVEMBER 2024: Testified before House Oversight Subcommittee — claimed government has conducted secret retrievals of UAPs and alien bodies. Book: “Imminent: Inside the Pentagon’s Hunt for UFOs” (2024). Documentary: “Age of Disclosure” (November 21, 2025). PENTAGON CONTRADICTIONS: DoD simultaneously confirmed and denied his AATIP leadership role in different statements.
