Late November 2024: Multiple unidentified aerial objects reported over USAF bases in the UK. A NOTAM was issued permitting F-15Es to operate in a 20nm radius of RAF Lakenheath WITHOUT navigation or anti-collision lights — which are normally a legal requirement in UK airspace. F-15s flew missions through the Thanksgiving holiday. RAF LAKENHEATH SIGNIFICANCE: Lakenheath has historically stored US nuclear B61 gravity bombs — one of the most sensitive nuclear-adjacent facilities in Europe. RAF MARHAM: Three possible UAS reported over the home of the UK entire F-35B Lightning II fleet. RAF Menwith Hill (GCHQ/NSA signals intelligence) and RAF Fylingdales (Ballistic Missile Early Warning System) were given new restricted airspace — both part of the UK nuclear deterrent architecture. RAF Shadow intelligence aircraft actively monitored the situation. UK Defence Minister Maria Eagle addressed Parliament. The civilian UK UAP Reports database (uk-uapreports.co.uk) was capturing and verifying public sightings in parallel — all submissions verified by members before publication. The site describes UAP sightings as “increasing over the last decade, with ever more verified.” This is the most significant UK military UAP incursion event since Rendlesham 1980.
