PURSUE’s PR-Series: At Least 49 Numbered Unresolved UAP Cases in Release 01

The Department of War’s unresolved UAP incident reports in PURSUE Release 01 are numbered in a PR-series. Based on the incident report numbers visible in the portal’s slideshow captions and file references, the series runs at minimum to PR-049. The incidents shown in the slideshow are not consecutive — there are significant gaps that point to cases not highlighted in the public presentation.

The Cases We Can See

From the PURSUE Release 01 slideshow and table, the following PR-series incidents are publicly identified by number:

  • PR-011 — visible in the portal’s record detail section (AARO attribution)
  • PR-019 — Middle East, May 2022. UAP flying across US military operator’s screen
  • PR-026 — United Arab Emirates, October 2023
  • PR-034 — Greece, October 2023. Radar scope image with unidentified tracks
  • PR-035 — Greece, October 2023. UAP flying from ocean toward land
  • PR-038 — Middle East, 2013. Infrared, eight-pointed contrast signature
  • PR-043 — Africa, 2025. US military operator in African airspace
  • PR-045 — Middle East, 2020. USAF report
  • PR-046 — INDOPACOM / Japan, 2024. Football-shaped body
  • PR-049 — North America, 2026. US Army report

The Cases We Cannot

Working from the visible series numbers, the following PR-series gaps exist in the public presentation: PR-001 through PR-010 (10 cases), PR-012 through PR-018 (7 cases), PR-020 through PR-025 (6 cases), PR-027 through PR-033 (7 cases), PR-036 through PR-037 (2 cases), PR-039 through PR-042 (4 cases), PR-044 (1 case), PR-047 through PR-048 (2 cases). That is 39 numbered cases not shown in the slideshow.

The portal table has 161 total files across all agencies. The PR-numbered DoW cases are a subset. But the gap between what is numbered and what is highlighted is significant. Cases PR-001 through PR-010 were not selected for the flagship slideshow. This could mean they are less dramatic. It could mean they are more sensitive. It could mean they are the oldest cases in the series and chronologically represent the programme’s earliest records.

Geographic Pattern of Visible Cases

The 10 visible PR-series cases span: Middle East (3 incidents — 2013, 2020, 2022), Greece (2 — October 2023), UAE (1 — 2023), Africa (1 — 2025), Japan/INDOPACOM (1 — 2024), North America (1 — 2026). Zero cases from Europe (excluding Greece), South America, or the Arctic. The pattern is heavily weighted toward US military operational theatres in the Middle East and Indo-Pacific.
