December 19, 2025: UAP Coalition Netherlands met with the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Research and Innovation (DG RTD) regarding the European Research Area (ERA) Act. Accompanied by Prof. Anders Warell and Dr. Beatriz Villarroel. Four proposals submitted: (1) Promoting open-minded scientific research; (2) Anti-stigma guidelines for research funders to counter unconscious bias; (3) Equal access to European research infrastructure for researchers in marginalized fields; (4) Protection of scientific talent from reputational damage. The ERA Act feedback was submitted with 36 signatories (scientists, researchers, and organizations) arguing stigma blocks the “fifth freedom” — free movement of knowledge — within the European Research Area. January 19, 2026: UAPCNL met with Netherlands Authority for Nuclear Safety and Radiation Protection (ANVS) to discuss UAP within nuclear safety protocols. The nuclear-UAP connection — documented by SCU across US nuclear sites and confirmed in NSA declassified documents — is now being formally addressed with a European nuclear safety regulator. The FAA issued new UAP reporting guidelines in October 2025; UAPCNL is pushing Europe to match the standard.
