The 2026 UK crop circle season is underway. Three formations have already been documented by Temporary Temples — the primary UK aerial photography and documentation organisation. All three are in the traditional Wiltshire/Somerset corridor. The season runs April through September. This is the early phase.
Formation 1: Ilchester, Somerset — April 4, 2026
The first reported UK formation of 2026 appeared at Bondip Hill, north of the A303, near Ilchester in Somerset on April 4, 2026. Somerset sits adjacent to the primary Wiltshire crop circle corridor and has produced significant formations in previous seasons. The A303 corridor — running from Stonehenge westward into Somerset — is a consistent location for early-season formations.
Formation 2: Waden Hill, Wiltshire — April 29, 2026
The second formation appeared at Waden Hill on April 29, 2026 — in oilseed rape (canola), in early flowering. Waden Hill sits directly adjacent to Silbury Hill and the Avebury stone circle, one of the largest and most significant Neolithic monuments in Europe. This is among the most historically loaded locations in the entire Wiltshire crop circle corridor.
Avebury and Silbury Hill have been associated with anomalous phenomena for decades. The 2009 incident involving the Wiltshire police sergeant and three figures in white coveralls occurred at Silbury Hill. Formations in this immediate area have consistently shown the strongest physical anomalies in BLT Research’s laboratory analysis.
Formation 3: Jack’s Plantation, Bruton — May 8, 2026
The third formation was reported May 8, 2026 — in young barley at Jack’s Plantation, South Brewham, near Bruton in Somerset, close to Alfred’s Tower. May 8 is the same date as the US Department of War’s release of 162 classified UAP files — the first tranche of the Trump administration’s promised UAP disclosure. Whether this is coincidence or pattern is a question this site does not answer. It is a data point.
What to Watch For
The UK crop circle season runs through September. The most complex and geometrically sophisticated formations typically appear in June and July — when cereal crops are at their most photographable state. The formations to watch for scientifically are those which allow rapid plant and soil sampling: within 24–48 hours of appearance, before public access has contaminated the site. BLT Research protocols require samples from multiple points inside the formation against controls in multiple directions at measured distances outside.
UAP Oracle will be tracking the 2026 season in real time. If formations appear with documented anomalous physical characteristics, we will report them. Temporary Temples maintains the primary photographic archive at temporarytemples.co.uk.
