Every Image on war.gov/ufo Decoded: 16 UAP Incidents Across 8 Global Locations

When war.gov/ufo launched on May 8, 2026, it opened with a 16-image slideshow of declassified UAP evidence. Each image or still frame is captioned with its source, location, and date. Together they document a global, multi-decade pattern of unresolved UAP encounters by US military and intelligence assets. Here is every image in the sequence.

Western United States — December 2025 (FBI)

Two FBI infrared still images (black hot mode) from December 2025, both showing unidentified objects over the western United States. These are the most recent dated images in the Release 01 set. The FBI attribution confirms these were acquired during a period when the FBI was actively conducting aerial surveillance — likely related to the November–January 2024–2025 drone incursion wave over sensitive US and NATO installations.

Western United States — September 2025 (FBI)

Four additional FBI infrared stills from September 2025. One specifically shows “an unidentified object below a helicopter” over the western United States — meaning active aerial surveillance was occurring and the UAP was observed at close proximity to a manned aircraft. The other three show one or multiple unidentified objects in the same period and region.

Southeastern United States — September 2023 (Composite Sketch)

A composite sketch dated April 30, 2024, described as a “recreation of potential anomalous sighting in southeastern United States in September of 2023.” The sketch was created seven months after the incident — the date suggests a formal reconstruction process was initiated after the original reporting was reviewed.

Apollo 17 Lunar Surface — 1972 (NASA)

Archival imagery from the Apollo 17 mission. The PURSUE caption states: “The yellow box contains an enlarged area of the original photo in which three lights are visible above the lunar terrain.” This is the first time NASA has officially included Apollo-era imagery in a UAP declassification release. Apollo 17 was December 1972 — the final crewed lunar mission.

Middle East — May 2022 (DoW PR-019)

A video still showing UAP “flying across the screen” as reported by a US military operator in the Middle East, May 2022. PR-19 designation indicates this is the 19th unresolved case in the DoW’s PURSUE release series.

United Arab Emirates — October 2023 (DoW PR-026)

Video still near the UAE. No additional detail in the public caption.

Greece — October 2023 (DoW PR-034 and PR-035)

Two separate Greece incidents from October 2023. PR-034 shows aqua-colored radar scope lines with black squares and rectangles against a gray background with scattered clouds — a radar track image of UAP. PR-035 shows a US military operator reporting UAP “flying straight above the ocean towards land” near Greece.

Middle East — 2013 (DoW PR-038)

An infrared still showing “an eight-pointed area of contrast.” The eight-pointed star pattern in infrared is associated with specific propulsion or energy signatures. This is the oldest dated non-NASA incident in the Release 01 slideshow.

Africa — 2025 (DoW PR-043)

A US military operator reported UAP while operating within African airspace in 2025. No further geographic detail in the public caption.

Middle East — 2020 (DoW PR-045)

US Air Force UAP report, 2020. Caption notes it was reported in the southern United States in 2020 — or the Middle East 2020 per the filename. USAF attribution. Unresolved.

INDOPACOM / Japan — 2024 (DoW PR-046)

US Indo-Pacific Command reported UAP “that resembles a football-shaped body near Japan” in 2024. The INDOPACOM area of responsibility encompasses the Pacific and is the command most exposed to Chinese and North Korean activity — though this object was described as unresolved, not attributed to an adversary.

North America — 2026 (DoW PR-049)

The US Army reported UAP in North America in 2026. This is the most recent dated incident in the Release 01 slideshow — and the only one attributed to the Army rather than Air Force, Navy, or intelligence agency. Unresolved.

The Oracle Assessment

Sixteen images across 8 countries and locations, spanning from 1972 to 2026. The pattern is not clustered in any one region or time period. The inclusion of Apollo 17 lunar imagery — officially, on a .gov domain, as part of a UAP release — is without precedent. The FBI’s 2025 western US images confirm the government was actively collecting UAP infrared data during the drone incursion wave. These are the images the government chose to put on the front page. What they chose not to include yet is the more important question.
