DECLASSIFIEDCOVER STORY EXPOSEDCIA / USAF OPERATION 1950s-1960s — CIA / USAF / PROJECT BLUE BOOK DECLASSIFIED: U-2 and OXCART Spy Planes Accounted for Over 50% of UFO Reports — Blue Book Was the Cover Story NHHC (Naval History and Heritage Command) documents confirm: U-2 reconnaissance flights above 60,000ft beginning mid-1950s caused massive UFO report surge. Commercial airliners flew at 10,000-20,000ft; military aircraft below 40,000ft. U-2 at 60,000ft reflected sunlight after horizon sunset, appearing as glowing silver objects to pilots below. Air Force Operation Blue Book at Wright-Patterson received all reports. Blue Book investigators REGULARLY CALLED CIA’s U-2 Project staff to check flight logs — eliminating reports they could not publicly explain. U-2 and OXCART flights accounted for MORE THAN HALF of all UFO reports during the late 1950s and most of the 1960s. THE INTELLIGENCE IMPLICATION: If the Air Force was deliberately dismissing over 50% of reports as classified aircraft they couldn’t name, this means the remaining approximately 50% of unresolved Blue Book cases represent a genuine unexplained residue — not explainable as classified US technology. The same Air Force that ran Blue Book was also running the black aircraft. They knew what was theirs. What they couldn’t explain was something else. // CIA declassified history / NHHC UFO Research Guide / history.navy.mil / THREAD: U2-BLUE-BOOK-COVER ▶ THREAD: CIA COVER STORY / BLUE BOOK / WRIGHT-PATTERSON SCU Study: 30-Year Data Shows UAP as “Small Mobile Reconnaissance Force” Targeting Nuclear Sites
