Wright-Patterson AFB in Dayton, Ohio is the facility most consistently named in UAP whistleblower testimony as a storage and analysis site for recovered non-human materials. Robert Salas, Philip Corso, multiple unnamed contractors, and the broader pattern of classified programme testimony all point to Wright-Patterson as the primary institutional home for UAP reverse engineering in the US military establishment. McCasland commanded AFRL. He had the institutional authority and access to know what was in those programmes. Rep. Eric Burlison contacted him twice specifically about UAP. McCasland did not respond to either contact. Monica Reza’s work on the Mondaloy super-alloy was funded by AFRL and supervised by McCasland during his 2001-2004 command period. Advanced materials science — the development of alloys and composites capable of withstanding extreme temperature, pressure, and electromagnetic conditions — is directly relevant to UAP reverse engineering programmes. The materials recovered from UAP craft, described by multiple whistleblowers as unlike anything in human metallurgical experience, would require advanced materials scientists to analyse and attempt replication.
Reza vanished in 2025. The documented circumstances of her disappearance include a witness account describing her vanishing from 30 steps away with no intervening cover — a physically anomalous disappearance. Whether this account is accurate cannot be confirmed from public information. What can be confirmed: she is missing, she worked for JPL-adjacent institutions, and she had a direct professional relationship with McCasland that spans the period of AFRL’s most significant UAP-adjacent research activity.
