UAP Oracle — Whistleblower/Researcher Profile

David Grusch

Former UAPTF Representative
NGA / NRO / USAF (Ret.)
Catalytic — triggered modern disclosure era

“We are not talking about prosaic origins or identities. The material includes intact and partially intact vehicles.”

— Grusch to The Debrief, June 2023

Background

David Grusch is a decorated former USAF officer (Combat Action Medal, Afghanistan) who served as the NGA’s co-lead for UAP analysis and as the NRO’s representative to the UAP Task Force 2019-2022. He filed a formal whistleblower complaint with the Intelligence Community Inspector General alleging illegal retaliation for disclosing classified information about covert UAP crash retrieval and reverse-engineering programs to Congress. The ICIG found his complaint credible and urgent. He testified publicly before the House Oversight Committee on July 26, 2023 alongside Commander David Fravor and Ryan Graves.

Key Disclosures

Multi-decade US crash retrieval and reverse-engineering programs involving non-human craft and biologics
People have been threatened and killed to maintain programme secrecy
The 1933 Magenta, Italy crash was recovered by Mussolini and transferred to the US in 1944-45 via Vatican and Five Eyes assistance
James Clapper managed crash retrieval operations as DNI/USDI/DIA director
General Clapper placed specific individuals in critical roles to manage the issue both publicly and covertly
Former VP Dick Cheney described as ‘central leadership’ — the closest figure to a ‘mob boss’ in the programme architecture

Credibility Assessment

Grusch’s claims were cleared for open publication by the DOD’s Defence Office of Prepublication and Security Review. Former Army Colonel Karl Nell, his UAP Task Force colleague, described him as ‘beyond reproach.’ Christopher Mellon, former Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Intelligence, has independently corroborated elements of his account. The ICIG’s urgent and credible finding is an institutional validation. His legal representation by the original IC Inspector General reinforces credibility.
