DR. CHARLES BUHLER — PROPELLANTLESS THRUST / 2,000 VACUUM EXPERIMENTS / VINDICATES UAP PROPULSION PHYSICS

Dr. Charles Buhler is a physicist who ran the Electrostatics and Surface Physics Laboratory at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center. Over more than 2,000 vacuum chamber experiments, he demonstrated that thrust can be generated from pure electrical asymmetry — with no propellant, no exhaust, and no ion wind. The thrust persists after the field is switched off. No conventional electromagnetic mechanism explains it. He co-founded Exodus Propulsion Technologies to pursue the commercial application of this effect.

What the experiments show: Buhler’s work demonstrates that an asymmetric electrical field configuration produces a net thrust in a hard vacuum where ion wind is physically impossible. The thrust is in millinewtons — small — but it is real, reproducible, and its mechanism is not understood under known physics. The effect cannot be explained by radiation pressure, ion wind, or magnetic fields. Buhler’s conclusion: this is a coupling between electrostatic fields and the local gravitational field — exactly the theoretical mechanism described by Ning Li’s 1991-1993 papers on gravitomagnetic fields in superconductors, and consistent with Thomas Townsend Brown’s mid-century antigravity experiments that were classified by the US Navy in the 1950s.

The UAP connection: If UAP craft use a variant of this effect at scale — electrogravitic or gravitomagnetic propulsion — it would explain the observed performance characteristics: no exhaust signature, no sonic boom at any speed, instantaneous acceleration, trans-medium operation (the same physics works in vacuum, atmosphere, and water). Jesse Michels (American Alchemy) covered Buhler’s work extensively and placed it in direct relationship to UAP propulsion. The AATIP program’s 38 research reports included work on exotic propulsion mechanisms consistent with Buhler’s findings. Charles Buhler has stated publicly that he believes UAP are real and that their propulsion is related to the effects he has measured in the laboratory.

Kevin Knuth (University of Albany, former NASA): Knuth developed a physics-first UAP analysis framework demonstrating that the flight performance documented in cases like Nimitz and the Belgian Wave requires acceleration in excess of 5,400 g — thousands of times beyond human survivability — and speeds approaching Mach 20 within seconds, with no sonic signature. His paper, published in Entropy (2019), is the most rigorous peer-reviewed treatment of UAP kinematics. His conclusion: the observed performance is physically impossible under any known propulsion mechanism, making the conventional “misidentification” explanation statistically implausible across multiple independent sensor platforms.
