In 1991, Spain’s Ministry of Defence began declassifying its military UAP files — making Spain the first NATO member state to officially open its Air Force UAP records to the public. The result: 80 expedientes, 1,900 pages of strange phenomena reports in Spanish airspace. All are freely accessible online at the Virtual Library of Defence.

On May 8, 2026 the Department of War launched PURSUE — Presidential Unsealing and Reporting System for UAP Encounters. war.gov/ufo is now live: 161 declassified files, rolling releases, no clearance required. Wilbert B. Smith was a senior engineer with Transport Canada. In 1950 he submitted a classified memo stating UAP were “the most classified subject in the US government.” He received official approval to run Project Magnet, built a detector station at Shirley’s Bay Ontario, and recorded anomalous readings. His conclusion: UAP were real and non-human.

Britain maintained an official UFO investigation programme from the early 1950s through November 2009. The MoD UFO Desk received sighting reports from the public and military, investigated incidents of defence significance, and issued formal responses to Parliamentary Questions. Then they closed it. A letter from Richard M. Bissell regarding Majestic 12 sits in the Eisenhower Presidential Library at the National Archives. Bissell was the CIA’s Deputy Director for Plans — the most powerful covert operations position in the US government. He ran the U-2 program and oversaw the Bay of Pigs. His letter referencing MJ-12 is publicly accessible at catalog.archives.gov ID 493468585.

Canadian MP Larry Maguire wrote a letter to Canada’s Defence Minister demanding a classified briefing on Canada’s involvement in a covert program to recover and analyse UAP materials — naming Defence Research and Development Canada (DRDC) as a possessor of recovered UAP material.

Multiple sources told Liberation Times that during the Obama administration, James Clapper and CIA deputy Stephanie O’Sullivan oversaw a program called Golden Domes — a joint CIA/USAF operation using electronic and laser-based capabilities to detect, track, and bring down exotic non-human vehicles, including those described as cloaked.

Independent journalist Michael Shellenberger reported on an alleged unacknowledged special access program called Immaculate Constellation — a government operation secretly collecting data, imagery and evidence on UAP encounters. If real, it would be the most significant UAP program revelation since Grusch.

Retired USAF Major General Neil McCasland — former commander of the Air Force Research Laboratory at Wright-Patterson AFB, former head of the Special Access Program Oversight Committee, and the man Tom DeLonge told Podesta was in charge of all of the stuff — vanished from Albuquerque on February 27, 2026. The FBI is involved. He has not been found.

AARO director Dr. Jon Kosloski says UAP cases exist that he cannot explain with his physics and engineering background. His predecessor confirmed AARO encountered craft performing maneuvers no known human system could replicate — and proved it was not US or adversary technology.

The article that broke the Grusch story to the world. Written by Leslie Kean and Ralph Blumenthal, published June 5, 2023 in The Debrief.
